Boca Raton, Fla., March 15, 2005 – Interfuse Technology Corp. today announced that Centuric, LLC has completed its first wave of OfficeLock® file-security software deployments at community banks and CPA firms throughout Florida.

Centuric provides application and systems integration services to help its clients secure sensitive customer financial and personal identity  information. By deploying OfficeLock, Centuric also helps financial services firms reduce unauthorized access to customer data and economically comply with legislative mandates included in personal privacy law, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and the Gramm Leach Bliley Act.

OfficeLock automatically provides security policy enforcement at the end point of use (electronic files and email messages), within and beyond the corporate network. With OfficeLock, Centuric’s clients can embed security-policy attributes – including encryption and usage restriction – within the file and email message. This enables the protection of information on other networks, independent of any server connection or network security level.

“Banks and CPA firms are among the businesses that are most attuned to protecting confidential client information,” said Interfuse President and CEO Phil Viscomi. “With so many recent security breaches in the news, it’s understandable why Centuric’s clients are constantly looking for an edge to protect sensitive data. By protecting files and email messages wherever they travel, OfficeLock provides that edge.”

Viscomi added, “With OfficeLock, should a bank employee’s or accountant’s laptop computer be lost or stolen – or should there be an unlawful intrusion into central computer files – sensitive customer data will be inaccessible. Also, correspondent business affiliates who are authorized to receive and process sensitive customer information now automatically comply with the bank’s or CPA firm’s security policy.”

Centuric President Frank Peluso said, “OfficeLock is a cornerstone of our iSecureOffice Managed Services offering, which determines the current level of network security, identifies areas of concern and recommends steps to mitigate existing or potential problems. OfficeLock is integrated into our risk mitigation program for financial institutions. We also assist in security training and the preparation of new security policies and procedures.”
