Boca Raton, Fla., March 23, 2005 – Interfuse Technology Corp. today announced that its OfficeLock® file-security software is being used by the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Inc. to protect confidential donor data.

The Federation is using OfficeLock to protect the confidentiality of its donor list. The Federation also plans to use OfficeLock to maintain secure correspondence with donors, beneficiary agencies, advisors and affiliates.

OfficeLock automatically provides security policy enforcement at the end point of use (electronic files and email messages), within and beyond the corporate network.  With OfficeLock, the Federation can embed security-policy attributes – including encryption and usage restriction – within the file and email message. This enables the protection of information on other networks, independent of any server connection or network security level.

“OfficeLock meets our need for a file-security solution providing confidentiality and ease-of-use by all the people we work with,” said Federation Chief Financial Officer Stephen Schwartz. “It has the flexibility to afford different levels of access and usage of electronic files and email by office employees, field employees and volunteers.”

Schwartz added, “We expect OfficeLock will be a major factor to help protect the Federation and its donor base from the type of identity theft losses that have been the subject of many recent news reports.”
Interfuse President and CEO Phil Viscomi said, “Like many charitable organizations that need to protect confidential donor information, the Federation needed a solution that could easily be used by third parties, without the need for special software or training. OfficeLock provides this ease-of-use and is transparent to normal work processes.”
