Boca Raton, Fla., November 30, 2004 – Interfuse Technology Corp. today announced that its OfficeLock® Enterprise file-security software has been successfully deployed by Verasys, LLC, a global investigative services firm based in Miami.

OfficeLock automatically provides policy-enforced, end-point security for native-format data files and email messages within and beyond the corporate network. OfficeLock embeds corporate security-policy attributes – including encryption and rights management – within the file, enabling businesses to protect their information on other networks, independent of any server connection or network security level.

“In the course of our work, we manage our clients’ most important proprietary and confidential information. We selected OfficeLock because it provides absolute security for that information, whether it resides on a desktop computer or on a mobile system traveling anywhere in the world,” said Verasys Managing Partner D.C. Page. “With OfficeLock, we are confident that our clients’ information, as well as the information we gather from our sources worldwide, is only accessible to those authorized to view it.”

Page added that OfficeLock’s Rights Management and file self-destruct features ensure that information is accessed only by pre-designated personnel within the company and for a restricted period of time. “Not everyone who works on a given project needs complete access to all the documents related to that project. OfficeLock helps us maintain total control of internal information, no matter where our team members or affiliates travel.”

Interfuse President and CEO Phil Viscomi said, “The selection of OfficeLock by Verasys demonstrates the product’s ability to protect business-critical information in a diverse multinational environment. With OfficeLock, the file is protected throughout its life cycle regardless of the file-user’s security level. This enables Verasys to extend its information-security policy to data as it travels outside the perimeter to mobile employees, strategic partners and consultants.”
